Recycling

Recycling and Take-Back

1. Take-back of electrical equipment and batteries
Collective systems: ASEKOL (electrical waste) and ECOBAT (batteries), which ensure environmentally friendly recycling

2. Map of collection points

For your convenience, we have prepared a list of where you can drop off electrical waste and batteries:

To find the nearest containers, use the Ministry of the Environment’s interactive map: Map of collection points.

Municipalities with over 2,000 residents are required to establish collection points for electronic waste and batteries

3. Why recycle?
We reduce landfilling: By 2035, the Czech Republic must recycle 65% of municipal waste

We protect nature: Batteries contain toxic substances (e.g., lithium), which are recovered during recycling

4. How to sort properly?
Batteries and rechargeable batteries: Always dispose of them separately (they do not belong in mixed waste!)

Electrical equipment: Place small devices (phones, chargers) in red containers; larger items (TVs, refrigerators) at collection centers.
